Ashraf Al-Faraj leads the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Practice, bringing over a decade of experience advising multinational corporations, regional conglomerates, and high-growth enterprises on strategic legal matters across the Middle East and North Africa.

Ashraf’s practice focuses on complex cross-border M&A, corporate reorganisations, regulatory advisory, and high-value commercial transactions. He regularly advises clients on market entry strategies, corporate governance frameworks, joint ventures, and IP monetisation across a range of sectors including technology, energy, and financial services.

Prior to joining the firm, Ashraf held senior legal roles at global law firms including Eversheds Sutherland and Dentons. He most recently served as Head of Legal at Unifonic Inc., where he led the company’s multi-jurisdictional legal strategy in preparation for its public listing. His transactional and advisory experience spans key jurisdictions including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Turkey, and the United States.

Ashraf is recognised for his commercial approach, operational insight, and ability to align legal strategy with business objectives. He has built and led legal teams in both private practice and in-house environments, and acts as a trusted advisor to boards and executive leadership teams on matters of strategic importance.
