Biography

Saliba is a highly accomplished legal professional with nearly 20 years of post-qualification experience spanning private practice and in-house roles in Amman and Dubai. Renowned for his strong ethical standards, strategic insight, and refined technical capabilities, he consistently delivers practical, business-oriented legal solutions in high-stakes, complex transactions. Saliba regularly advises clients operating across the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, offering jurisdiction-specific insight and deep regional expertise.

 

His core areas of practice are corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, and the drafting and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements. He also advises on banking and finance matters, including the issuance of legal opinions on capacity and enforceability. His work further extends to the incorporation and restructuring of entities with complex corporate structures, as well as the drafting of sophisticated constitutional documents. Saliba has extensive experience advising on energy projects—both conventional and renewable—and has led legal teams through all phases of complex transactions, from due diligence and contract drafting and negotiation to financial closing. He also possesses specialised expertise in distribution and agency arrangements within the healthcare sector and regularly advises regional and international stakeholders on the legal and regulatory aspects of such arrangements.

Prior to joining the firm, Saliba held senior positions at leading international law firms, including nearly a decade at Eversheds Sutherland and Dentons, where he advised multinational clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with particular focus on joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and complex commercial arrangements across various industries. He subsequently served for over five years at Emaar Properties PJSC in Dubai, where he played a leading role in major corporate and transactional mandates, particularly in the corporate, joint venture, real estate, construction, and finance sectors.
